Q : Can you tell me about What your Inspiration of naming “ LITE ”
A : The name LITE originally came from the name of a Toyota car that one of the members used to drive. At first, the name didn’t have any particular meaning, but strangely enough, the music started to become “lighter,” just like the name suggests.
Q : How has the journey of LITE been ?
A : We’ve been active for 20 years, but like our first tour in Australia in October 2024, there are still many experiences waiting for us on this journey that we’ve yet to encounter.
Q : Describe what is the indie & independence in LITE ?
(etc. What kind of music have you love since you can remember ?)
A : In a word, I would say it’s about freedom. To be more specific, it’s about continuing to make the music we love in the way we want. I also believe that the music should be free to evolve without being influenced by anyone else’s opinions.
Q : What do you want to achieve the goals for the future ? Is there any artist you would like to collaborate with ?
A : For example, when we play a live show in Tokyo, a lot of people come to see us. Our goal is to create that same situation in every country in Asia, and not just in Asia, but also across Europe and the United States
Q : How would you describe “LITE” in 1 sentence
A : Freedom within discipline
Q : If you compare LITE to a Thai Dish, What dish would it be ?
A : I would say it’s like Gaeng Keow Wan. It has a spicy kick, but at the same time, there’s a sweetness and depth of flavor. That balance is exactly what LITE embodies.
Q : This will be your first time playing a live show in Thailand and your first as a headlining Show. How do you feel about receiving all the support from Thai Fans ? (invite Thai fan to come to IN-CON EP.02)
A : We’ve performed live in Thailand many times, but this will be our first time headlining a festival. We’re really excited to bring the latest LITE music to so many of our Thai fans. See you at IN-CON EP.02!
